Community guidelines
LPS Checklist is for everyone who loves Littlest Pet Shop, and lots of our members are young. These guidelines keep it a kind, safe place to collect together. They apply everywhere in the app: posts, comments, messages, profiles, listings and trades.
Be kind
Treat people the way you'd like to be treated.
- No bullying, name-calling, or mean comments about someone's collection, customs or photos.
- No pile-ons. If someone gets something wrong, one friendly reply is enough. Don't join in just because other people have.
- No hate. Nothing that attacks people for who they are, such as their race, religion, disability, gender or sexuality.
- It's fine to disagree. Just be nice about it.
Keep it about LPS
- Posts, polls and contests should be about Littlest Pet Shop: your pets, finds, hauls, customs, art, displays and questions.
- Keep it suitable for all ages. No swearing, and nothing sexual, violent or scary.
- No spam, chain posts, or advertising for other businesses.
Share your own work, and credit artists
- Only post photos, art and customs that you made yourself, or that you have permission to share.
- If you share someone else's work with their permission, credit them by name.
- Never pass off someone else's work as your own. If you traced or copied a piece, say so.
- No AI-generated art in the Showcase. The Showcase (coming soon) is for art and customs made by people.
Protect your privacy, and other people's
- Never share your home address, phone number, school or passwords in posts, comments or your profile.
- Don't post anyone else's personal details.
- Don't post photos that show children's faces, including your own. Crop them out or cover them.
- People online aren't always who they say they are. If something feels wrong, stop replying and tell a parent, carer or another adult you trust, and report it.
Buy, sell and trade safely
The app doesn't handle payments. When you buy, sell or trade, you arrange payment and posting directly with the other collector.
- If you're under 18, ask a parent or carer before you buy, sell or trade.
- Describe pets honestly. Say if a pet is a fake, damaged, or customised.
- Use a payment method that protects buyers, and be wary of anyone who asks you to pay in a way that can't be refunded.
- Only share your address in a private message with someone you're trading with, and only if you're comfortable doing so.
- If you meet in person, meet somewhere public and bring someone with you.
- Send what you promised, when you promised.
- Report scams. If someone takes payment and doesn't send, or sends something different, report them in the app and keep your messages as evidence.
Reporting
If you see something that breaks these guidelines, please report it. On a post, tap the three dots (⋯) and choose Report post. On someone's profile, tap Report. You can also report comments, messages, listings, trades and contest entries.
What happens next:
- Our moderators look at every report within 24 hours.
- We don't tell the person who reported them.
- If something breaks the guidelines, we'll remove it and may take action on the account (see below).
Please don't report things just because you disagree with them. You can always block or mute someone instead.
If the rules are broken
Most problems are sorted out by removing the post or comment. If someone keeps breaking the guidelines, what happens gets more serious:
- The content is removed.
- A temporary suspension: the account can't post, comment, message or sell for a while.
- A permanent ban.
If action is taken on your account, we'll tell you why. If you think we got it wrong, email lpschecklistapp@gmail.com and a person will look at it again.
Some things lead straight to a ban, such as threats, sexual content, or putting a child at risk. We may also pass them to the police.
